The laboratory electric violin Oliver comes from a work experience and study of its owner Sergio Pugliese, who comes from a family of woodworkers that has its roots back in the nineteenth century.
Sergio Pugliese graduated at University of Calabriacon honors, specializing on the construction and history of musical instruments.
During university he studied all the factors that influence and determine the sound of an instrument, eventually developing their own model electric guitar.
In 2001 obtained funding youth entrepreneurship and finally the model long studied in the laboratory becomes virtually real.
Right now the lab buys the consent of the musicians who come in contact.
Currently Oliver instruments are bought by various professionals who appreciate the artistic quality of construction and the characteristic sound identity.

Oliver handmade instruments are manufactured by combining high quality components at the fine art of violin making. All guitars and bass guitars have a sophisticated sound identity, more in my shop are created specific tools that follow the directions of the most demanding musicians.
Each guitarist or bass player should have a special relationship with their instrument, it must feel like a part of himself in order to evoke emotions through this union. During construction, the player can watch the birth and development of prorpio instrument, so each variant is agreed upon, modified and adapted to customer needs. The valuable advice of the luthier help in the choice of components, wood and paint. In this way the bond musician / instrument becomes stronger and is easier to create the synergy needed to create unique sonic emotions.
